Duane and his charming wife Mary started the new season off in excellent form. A lecture which concentrates on silks and sponges sounds like a sure-fire cure for insomnia but Duane performed and explained his magic in such an entertaining way that the evening just flew by. His use of the Palmo and Handkerchief gizmos was fascinating and puzzling and many sales of these very old - but brilliant - accessories were made after the show. A very good evening. |
