This years show will be headlined by Max Somerset, the Sorcerer himself from

The Ipswich Magical Society is a thriving Society formed in 1928. It meets
twice a month, usually on the first and third Mondays of the month.
The Society motto is "Veritas Mutatis Mutandis", which translates to "Truth
with Variations".
Meetings start at 7:30pm and go on until 10:00pm where they will often
continue in a local pub.
Once a year we hold a Magic Convention.
During the day the Convention is open to magicians from other magic
societies, and in the evening there is a show that is open to the general
public.

indeed other society events, please click on the

The Ipswich Magical Society has many members
ranging from seasoned professionals to
enthusiastic hobbyists.
There is also a wide mix of ages and we have
skills in all genres of magic, but above all
everyone is friendly and eager to encourage
fellow members.
Events vary, but typically consist of a visiting
lecturer, a dealer demonstration or one of our
numerous cup
competitions.
