Thelma Levett : 16th April

Tuesday, 15 April 2008
This week's meeting is a teach-in on balloon modelling using 260 size balloons (maximum of 2 balloons per model).

The lecturer is Thelma Levett (Smudge the Clown) who is one of the UK's top balloon modellers. Some of you may remember her from a few years back when she gave an excellent lecture.

Don't forget, balloon modelling is not just for children's entertainers. With a few balloons in your pocket you are all set to entertain the adult's childrem who often appear at wedding functions etc. And even the adults like them!

Hope to see you there.

This Wednesday we are privileged to have a visit from Roy Davenport. One of the famous Davenport family who still own and run the oldest magic shop in the UK, Roy is also a very accomplished magician particularly in the area of manipulation and sleight of hand. Roy will be performing and explaining his magic as well as bringing along a large display from the Davenport shop for purchase.

Try not to miss this one - I guarantee you will have a great time.

Kind regards,

Martin (on behalf of Mick who still has not taken his computer out of the box!)

P.S. Don't forget annual subscriptions (£35 for the year) are now due. After 2 April the fee increases to £40 for those who have not paid by that date.
